East Ellijay, GA — May, 1 2026 — Following its recognition as Best of Georgia Distillery in 2025 by the Georgia Business Journal, House of Applejay Distillery continues its rise—now ranked #2 Distillery in Georgia in the 7th Annual “Sippin’ Local” Poll published by James Magazine (May/June 2026 issue).

The annual poll highlights one of Georgia’s fastest-growing industries, where more than 250 craft beverage producers contribute to a market exceeding $2.6 billion in sales. Readers across the state were invited to vote for their favorite breweries, distilleries, and wineries—recognizing businesses defined by strong community support, quality, and customer loyalty.

For House of Applejay, this marks a third consecutive year of recognition, rising steadily from #8, to #4, and now to #2 in the state—a clear sign of growing momentum.
