Hot Cherry Chocolate (c) House Of Applejay

Hot Cherry Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 part Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur
  • 4 parts lactose-free milk
  • 1.2 parts 70% dark chocolate flakes (or high-quality dark drinking chocolate, finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Add the lactose-free milk and dark chocolate flakes to a Velvetiser, or gently warm them together in a pot over low heat.
  2. Whisk slowly and continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth and steaming—without bringing to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat (or take off the Velvetiser) and stir in the Winter Cherry Mountain Liqueur.
  4. Pour into your favorite mug.
  5. Garnish: A sprinkle of dark chocolate shavings, or a dash of sea salt for extra depth.
  6. Serve fireside, blanket-side, or star-gazing style. Sip slowly—rich, warming, with a lively cherry spice that pairs beautifully with dark chocolate desserts, cozy reads, or quiet conversations.
